Yes, sorry I was not more specific. Slyph is waiting for an opportunity to attack if she can do so with a reasonable chance of success (i.e only firing through one friendly hex - the orc).

2 friendly characters doesn't change the soft cover AC bonus of the Kobold. Still only +4 to his AC.

Sorry Miller, but money's running thinner than I'd hoped before finding a new job. I'm probably going to have to cancel my connection soon. Up to you if you want someone to take over Dram or take a new player to replace him.

Dang, that's too bad.

I can NPC him or have someone run him until they get him back to the Guild to park him until you come back.

When will this happen? Will I get a heads up or is this it?

This pretty much is the heads up. Don't know how much longer I'll be on. I'll try to say when I have a set date to lose it though.

And when it's gone, it will be a while before I get it back. We're talking several months. It was fun while it lasted at least.

Hope to see you back soon. Speaking of which, I'll be on vacation starting Tuesday for 2 weeks. I should be able to access internet most days but my posting rate will definitely be slower. Therefore (clears throat) I do hereby, by the power invested in me, grant to DM Miller authority to play the character known as Slyph until such time as the player, myself, is able to resume such duties. Notarized this day ... whenever it is.

Done.

Thanks for finding a replacement for Dram Miller. Since this is probably the last post I'll make for a while, figure I'll give the lowdown on Dram.

OK, so there's not that much to him. He plays a lot like a stereotypical half-orc, outside of being well-spoken. Just keep the smartassery up, and remember that the flask of dragon piss is not for drinking. It's for making other people drink or lighting things on fire, heh. Being an ex-slave he won't ever try to control anyone - so for the above example he might trick someone into drinking that crap, but probably won't force them. same as he'd taking a willing prisoner (so to speak), but if they insist on fighting someone else better if they want them alive. and if it's a slaver let's hope the group doesn't want it alive.

But that's pretty much the key to Dram. Thanks again, and best of luck to you all.

Alright gang, with Slyph on vacation, Dram being taken over by Aurian/Daka, and Kahal probably still busy with RL issues, I rolled the next attacks and combat ended.

I will assume Kahal is following along for now, until we hear from him again. While Slyph is being NPC'd go ahead and ask her to do reasonable requests (i.e. search for traps) and I will roll them.

Sorry for the delay of a few days, it took me awhile to set up internet access. Dial up - ugh!

No worries, I have been NPC'ing you to keep things going.

So far Kahal is MIA this week, so I have been waiting a certain amount of time and NPCing you both at once.

If I do something with Slyph you don't like, you can have it corrected after the fact. No worries.
