IC: Savage Worlds

This is for all questions, discussions, issues and what not that is not directly related to a campaign. Technical issues are to be posted in here as well. Finally, any important Administrator announcements will be made here as well.

If everyone is in acceptance of starting with the prequel, that is fine with me too. It sounds like the premise would be fairly straightforward.

The character idea I had, powers-wise, is an assassin type with mobility powers - teleportation. I'd have to look at character creation to know if anything more would be possible in the power suite. But basically a sneaky type with some fighting skill and the ability to get out (and into) trouble quickly.

With our Trio of Justice game pretty much stalled out, LMiller thinks he has time add one more game to his rotation. He is new to Savage Worlds too, but that just means I have to make his sheet too. He already has an idea in mind for a villainous teenage boy.

I also mentioned this to one of my F2F gamer friends who knows Savage Worlds and is working on prepping an adventure F2F for our group. He is going to look it over and see if he wants to give PbP a try.

One question that came up, are you planning to use maps and tokens, Unliving?

So for a character concept, i settled on have a swords wielding sorcery....utilizing super sorcery and attack melee powers.

The idea is that the character has possession of a soul eating sword, and gets her powers from that.

I will have a better post later, but I wanted to let people know I am on vacation until Wednesday.

No worries, Unliving. Some of us are busy and trying to develop a new concept will take some time.

Oddly enough, LM is farther along on his decisions than I am. Looking at a hybrid Atlantean boy idea that had his mother killed by the Superheroes as collateral damage, blaming them for it. He is looking to have telepathy, some water powers, and a magical trident.

I still might look at a Vampiric Mage type villain, but I am letting my creative cells mull over other ideas to see if anything leaps out at me. I was toying with a concept that would be like Captain Cold from the Flash/DC Legends of Tomorrow.

Oh, I like LM's concept a lot. It's really grounded in the setting, like a character in a novel would be. Great instincts for a young writer!

There certainly seems to be enough interest. I will put in a request for a forum and we can move discussion there.
