A cataclysm of flooding was destroying the world, the waters to eventually rise and leave the mountains as islands scattered throughout. The gods showed the peoples floating ore and wizards spelled it to levitate. Some of the doomed cities and realms were able to salvage themselves by quickly magicking the ore in the foundations of their cities to float them into the sky. Now sailing ships float through air and winged mounts carry transportation and trade between the islands on the roiling seas and in the sky.
Background: Leolamin, the youngest son of the Serpenhelm tribe, was always different from his other nine older siblings. He was never interested in hunting, planting, or staying in the tribe and helping his father who is the priest. He wanted to explore, going to nearby human towns, and seeking for an adventure. His parents were both busy, and did not care about him much. His one older brother was already 10 years older than him, so there was a huge gap between him and the others. So of course they won’t really talk to him. There was only one person that had cared about Leolamin since he was little. It was Beldock Toweegglun, a gnome that had visited this tribe and had been staying in this tribe for awhile. He takes Leo to different towns near the tribe, and the outside world.
Nobody knew about Leolamin’s true powers until Beldock found out. This one was one of the rare rakashans that have magic. It is said that it is a gift from the gods, and only one out of 50 rakashans possess magic.
For half a decade, the gnome had taught him the basics of reading and writing, as well as the human language. The rakashan is good at fighting and stealth, since he has the blood of the hunting family. Beldock taught some magic too.
When the flooding came, the tribe heard about the dragons’ war and evacuated to the nearest mountain. Leolamin and the gnome thought this was an opportunity to escape, so instead of going into the mountains, they headed for a huge city that was being raised. They barely made it onto the city, but were safely floating. The other races (not human) were sent to a smaller city, so they moved to Taranton. Beldock was an important person to the town because of his powerful nature magic. They lived in a villa for several months, until Leo decided he need a job. He was hired on an airship, and said farewell to Beldock.
...the journey begins… 旅は始まる
Personality and Appearance: Leolamin has jaguar fur, just like his family, with pointy ears with ear piercings. He took those off when he left the tribe. He never really liked the tribe, and the only gift he had from being in it was the ability of stealth.
Leolamin’s striking personality is that he is very curious about everything.

Jakamo was not the most likeable, tending to be mean and prone to holding grudges. But could repair most things. Captain Corsair needed someone that could fix the ship as well be a good all-around sailor and fighter.
Thadeus had a big mouth and loved to gamble. He also liked to eat and was the cook as well as a decent all-around sailor. He often could get into trouble in taverns and was an experience bare-knuckle brawler.
