SM: Friends, Foes and Notable Figures.

A What-If Star Wars universe where the Empire is ruled by the Jedi Council, and the Rebellion is fronted by the Sith. Everything is familiar, yet totally different, as the Sith-led Rebellion battles the Jedi Order for the fate of the Empire.

Emperor Palpatine

Emperor Palpatine rules the Empire with efficiency, skill and some ruthlessness. He is backed reluctantly by the Jedi Council, who act as part of his inner circle. Many see the Emperor as the only capable of holding the Empire together, and wholehearted supported him and the Jedi during the transition from Republic to Empire. Just as their are many supporters, there are many opposed to Palpatine and his rule. They feel their rights have been stepped on, and see the growing imperial power as a threat to the galaxy.

Emperor Palpatine is a Jedi Master in his own right. It is another fact that many in the opposition dislikes. There are still people both inside and out of the jedi order that believe no Jedi should be in a position of such power. On the flip side, only a jedi could hold the position and guide the Empire.

Anakin Skywalker

Anakin Skywalker is the right hand of Emperor Palpatine as well as a Head Inquisitor. He truly believes in the Empire and the Jedi Order's position of power, After the events on Mustafar and his convalescence, Anakin was quickly elevated to the Jedi Master. Turmoil and conflict still wracked the Republic, many believed to be caused by the Sith. Anakin felt is was his duty to root out and bring to justice any Sith. He excelled at it, and over the years became a feared inquisitor. When the transition to Empire occurred, Anakin was named Head Inquisitor reporting only to the Jedi Council in matters of pursing the Sith and fallen Jedi. He has developed his own personal order of inquisitors within the Jedi Order.

Anakin hunts relentless for Obi-Wan Ken-obi. The fight on Mustafar is unfinished, and Skywalker blames his old master for the death of his lover, Padme.

Princess Leia

Princess Leia Organa is the face of the Rebellion. She is charismatic and brash, becoming a symbol to those opposed to the Empire. Her ties to Aldaraan have enabled her to become more than a thorn in the side of the Empire. The Jedi Order label her a sith, and endeavor to capture her in order to bring her to justice. She is on Anakin Skywalker's list to hunt down.

Princess Leia's powers with the force awakened during her young teenage years. Obi-wan Ken-obi attempted to train her the Force, but Leia was too strong willed at this point to heed warning about the dark side. Frusterated with her progress with Obi-wan, Leia attempted to seek further training with a Master Yoda. She had traveled to Dagobah, found the old master, and convinced him to train her. Rather than face the trail against the dark side, the princess embraced that side of the force. She saw it as necessary to gain the power to lead the rebellion against the empire.

She is still acquaintances with Obi-Wan Ken-obi, their relationship is strained due to views of the Force and the Rebellion.

Obi-Wan Ken-obi

The years since Mustafar have not been good for Obi-Wan Kenobi. The jedi master was declared fallen shortly after his battle with Anakin, causing him to flee from the Jedi Order and live in hiding. Anakin Skywalker and his agents are relentless in their search for Kenobi, keeping the master on the run.

Ken-obi believes the Jedi Order has strayed from it's intended purposes for keeping the peace and order of the galaxy. The Order should not be running the Empire, and that it should be the people. However, the old master has realized that nothing is black and white.

Obi wan is also haunted by his failure with both Anakin and Leia as apprentices. He sticks close to the Rebellion with hopes to at least influence Leia to not descend too far down the dark side.
