BC: OOC Discussion

Convicted Murderers, Thieves, and pirates. They all have a propensity towards violence. Something that the Empire of Khodar needs in its struggle against the Thelmor Dominion. As a convicted criminal, you are given the choice. Serve in the army for a chance at freedom or go to headsman. Wanting to live, you choose the former and enter the world of the Black Company.

No reason to completely pause. We can post for a bit and then Herzog will be back.

OK...so this is just a short little fight to get our feet wait again.

Feel free to ask questions.

Also, Emri needs to be posted in the character thread.

You can use invisible castle, or myth-weavers as a dice roller.

Ok I think I did that right...? I looked at some old posts and tried to emulate what happened there. I'm not sure if a dagger is a d10 or not either. So please let me know if I did something wrong, and I will fix it.

sorry for the lack of explanation...i was posting and running....

Anyway, you did it right, except that your skill to defaults to d30 as you don't have any of the weapon skills (melee, ranged, etc). Don;t worry about it too much. This fight is nonlethal and more to get every one oriented to the combat system. Since it's a miss anyways, I will just update and move on.

This didn't go quite as planned. Oh well, sorry for a lackluster beginning. But I felt it necessary for the characters to go through the introduction into the Black Company.

Yeah, that was rather tough without a group of PCs to help work together. But bringing a knife to a sword fight was not going to go well anyway. ;)

Yeah I never meant for Emri to be a physical badass anyway. She wouldn't be fighting this way for real.

OK, this little bit is over. I need some time to set up the next part.

At any rate, Emri, you got some some xp and a choice...see the spoiler block. ALso, please put your character sheet in the Dramatis Persona thread.
