Haven of Evil [OOC]

The Kingdom of Talingarde is perhaps the noblest, most virtuous and peaceful nation yet founded. The royalty of this dominion has rescued a dispirited people from the brink of despair and darkness. They dealt with their enemies honorably and their allies faithfully. Talingarde is a paragon of the age, a bright shining city upon a hill. Yet the nation faces now its greatest test. US! It is our ambition to do nothing less than destroy Talingarde utterly.

No worries. Joph is covering Cullen at the moment.

I am waiting on you all to start combat. But Joph has posted so it is Samara’s turn and I can roll to see if the guard detects the Bluff (which is unlikely with very bad Sense Motive).

Joph, did Darius decide to ignore Cullen's request to flank the guard?

Thanks. Turns out it did not matter with the attack roll.

Combat is over and I significantly updated the map to include all three levels of the Gate House.

I do believe that is 50XP and we have reached level 2 now. :D

That's right. :D It's been awhile, but we're both 2nd level and nearly out of Branderscar! Let's get hyped!

I've made a new thread to track level ups. I think Max HP -2 similar to other games will work for level up HP, since I hadn't seen any hard rule we'd decided on for level-up hit point bonuses.

Please also remember that you get two bonus skill points per level in Way of The Wicked!

Lost my Internet connection for the last 2-3 days - apparently my service provider didn't get the meaning of "I moved back into my old unit". Posting to resume now, sorry for delays. :o

Cool. Still no on-line word from Herzog after the baby arrived. But it has only been a little over a week.

Mightymaltim, you still around? Your character needs to be level 2 and I think he should be at the scene of the gambling, able to be rescued and in play.

So are we suppose to level up to 2nd before the next fight?

As for my schedule, i think i will be able to manage 1/week for the time being as the new little one settles down into a routine.

Yes, I think we decided to level up. Either way the last fight should not be that challenging.

But with another recruit disappearing on us, I think we should discuss the long term.

To be frank, I cannot recruit any more people for this. The pace is too slow to ask someone of quality to join. It is fine for people that we know will stick around when a game goes quiet for a week or two, but all of those players are not interested or too busy.

I am fine with continuing with only three of us at this relaxed pace though. We can just keep Cullen around. Sharing him has not been that disruptive and works okay.

We can potentially add someone later (6 months or longer) when you both can increase your commitment to 2-3 times per week again.

Fine by me...Just as long as the game doesn't close. Seems like all the "evil' games never last.
