Aboard the Resurgence in the Zandrax SystemImage
Captain Verana walks along the passageway and replies to the little furred being, "Certainly, we do have some of our planet's delicacies for special occasions."

Looking up at Critias walking beside him he continues, "However, I think you misunderstood. He will not be aboard the ship. There is a good chance you may never meet with him again in person."

Hayole didn't have too many things to be concerned with bringing along, but it was best to make sure he took them now. He wasn't wearing his armor and only had his blaster pistol strapped to his utility belt.

The soldier smiled at the furry little Force-User and his play on words. He had a talent for breaking the tension and keeping things lighthearted.

"Captain, my armor, rifle, and some of my other gear are still on board the Banshee. I wan't expecting to be invited to make permanent residence on your ship. Should I grab my things now or can I jut pick them up later? I don't want to delay your plans."

Hayole's face blushed with embarrassment. He prided himself on being prepared for any situations that crop up and he was not ready for this.

Crit nodded.

“Ah yes, I did misunderstand. Forgive me, Captain.”

He smiled at J’hera Zed’s request for nuts. He was sure the captain would soon find the little furred being as charming as they all did. The only disconnect was when he contrasted the little being’s charming mien and amusing idiosyncrasies with the utter destruction he could wreak.

“Ah yes, I left a great deal of equipment back to the Banshee as well. If it’s convenient now, perhaps we should retrieve everything at once.”

Teeva listened quietly as the Captain explained the situation fully. She began to appreciate the risks the Senator is taking on standing up to the Empire as well as the lengths he and his followers are going to in order to maintain secrecy. After all, she’d probably do the same thing.

This mission also resolved her own feelings towards the empire. Before, it was just staying out of their way. But after this mission, Teeva now felt like she could make a difference. Much like they did when destroying the prison facility on Felucian.

Teeva nods her acceptance, “I understand the importance of secrecy.”

The young force user follows along with the others, and marvels at the pristine condition of the ship. It would make a good base of operations if they continued their work for the senator and the cause of something good.

“Captain, is this ship itself off the record so to speak? Is it registered in other words?”

J'hera Zed's whiskers twitched as he stopped scampering to look up at Critias Nor. His progress down the passageway was a mixture of scampers and the slower walking on hind legs that left him falling behind after a few moments.

"J'hera Zed wants a code name. Perhaps he should be the Furry J'hera Zed. He is happy that the ship is going to be hiding. The Empire's inquisitors will have a hard time finding him."

"He is not sure if the inquisitors are actually searching, but after the escape from Sel Zonn Station they might be looking for him and Teeva."

The sciurus is not exactly the most inconspicuous of Force Users in the galaxy either.

Aboard the Resurgence in the Zandrax SystemImage
Captain Okeefe speaks up from the rear of the procession, "You all can take your time moving your grap off my ship. I far as I know, I am not going anywhere soon. I am hoping to borrow a few tech specialists to double check the mawking repairs we made on Felucia."

Sirona Okeefe is normally a pleasant enough person, but two days cooped up in the small space yacht with so many had a few nerves being pinched a bit.

Image
Captain Verana shakes his head, "No we are officially registered as Alderaanian, but all the paperwork is in order. We are military vessel so it would not due to try to pretend otherwise. However, we are going to be spending all of our time in deep space, between worlds and away from major hyperspace routes."

"Speaking of which, Sirona. I do have some work for you that we can discuss once you have your ship taken care of."

Captain Okeefe looked back with an arched eyebrow, "Oh really? Just as long as you plan to compensate me accordingly, we can discuss away."

The wookiee gives a brief chuckle as the humans banter back and forth, he never understood it entirely, but it did become amusing from time to time. As they move through the large vessel Kalla tries to find 'land marks' he can use to get around if he needs too, such a large ship will undoubtedly be confusing.

For the most part he remains quiet though, he really had nothing to contribute to the current conversation, and as for a code name he really didn't care one way or another what he was called, as long as everyone knew the proper code name.

He did occupy his time with checking out all the nifty corridors and rooms they passed, this sort of ship, a war ship, was unfamiliar to him as he had mostly piloted small craft like the Banshee, and other transports.

“I think perhaps you might need something more…obscure, J’hera Zed,” Crit said, mildly.

The ship smelled of metal and recycled air. They walked along the decking, boots ringing. Only Kalla and J’hera Zed’s footfalls were soft.

“If the purpose of a code name is to obscure one’s identity, then ‘The Furry J’hera Zed’ might be something of a giveaway, since the inquisitors might guess that the person it describes….has fur.”

He looked down at the sciurus.

“Perhaps you might think of something else?”

Teeva nods at the Captains answer to her question, and lets it drop. Of the captain and the senator would cover their backsides where this ship was concerned. The paperwork would probably hold against any imperial investigation, and the captain sounded confident enough.

When J’hera Zed speaks up about code names, Teeva snickers lightly. The small furry creature had an almost humorous attitude around him, and his naivety in certain things was refreshing.

“Perhaps we should call you the Curious One?”

For her part, Teeva couldn’t really think of a code name for herself. She had always been Teeva, and answering to another name would take time. She wondered if it was truly necessary in the long run. If they are caught, they are most likely dead men anyways. At least she and J’hera Zed would be as they are force users.

Hayole chuckled as J'hera Zed's code name. It was a playful laugh. He had hoped it wasn't obnoxious. The last thing he wanted to do was insult him.

"Yeah, sometimes we need to say the opposite of what someone actually is. For example, we might call Kalla, Small Fry."

"But," continued the soldier, "that can get confusing. So non specific names can work."

Hayole paused for another moment with a pensive look on his face, "I might go with something like Overwatch."

Hayole looked at the others for a moment, "I typically won't be up front and can help out whoever needs it because of my rifle. I think that fits."

Hayole looked pleased with himself. It was simple and precise.

J'hera Zed is silent for a moment as he scampers to pull ahead that he might walk on hind legs again while speaking.

He replies to Critias, "J'hera Zed thinks that wookiees are furred, not just sciurus. He knows that his species is quite rare and not the first thing that would come to mind."

"He thinks Overwatch Hayole is a good name even if Hayole does not climb trees like a wookiee to look down protectively over his companions. Maybe Kallannakazza should be Overwatch Kallannakazza instead."

"J'hera Zed shall consider another code name..."

"Hmmm, Curious J'hera Zed?... "
his voice trails off as he contemplates the possibilities. The Galactic Basic language is not his native tongue and something is lost in the translation.

Captain Okeefe chuckles. After spending a few hyperspace trips with the curious sciurus hanging out on her Bridge she realizes that the little fellow is not grasping where the problem lies.

Adding to Teeva's suggestion, she offers with playful lilt to her voice, "Just call him George or Splat."

You arrive at the Captain's dining compartment. It is not spacious, very little aboard a warship actually is. The table is set for eight people and Captain Verana gestures for you to sit without interrupting your current conversations.

“Thank you very much, Captain.”

Crit stood at his chair until Teeva sat. Even though he wouldn’t have done it in the field – not wanting Teeva to feel different than the others – in polite company, it was expected. He was certain that the captain would wait for her as well.

In the pause, he turned to the captain.

“Could we perhaps get some cushions so that our comrade, the Curious J’hera Zed, might be able to sit level with the table?”

Teeva followed along in silence and in thought after the conversation about nicknames. She is still pondering a name for herself, and she absentmindedly enters the dining cabin.

Snapping to, the young force user flashes Crit a smile as he waits standing up. Ever the gentleman he was, as obvious from his manners and how he carries himself. It must be a product of the nobilitiy.

"Maybe we should call you The Gentleman."
she teases the blond haired man.

The near human takes a seat near one end of the table, as to not be the center of attention.

"Who else is joining us?" Teeva askes as she counted eight spots set, but there are only seven present.

Hayole smirked at the name Splat for J'hera Zed. That would be very fitting for him. He'd probably not understand it and wonder why we named him after his game.

The soldier walked right into the dining room and began to sit down, but noticed Crit waiting and thought he should follow along. Afterall, manners and things of that nature was an area of expertise for Crit. The Gentleman was a good nickname for him too.

"Thank you," said Hayole to Captain Verana as was the custom for most people when one person takes the lead lie Crit did.

Hayole waited to sit until Crit did. He figured he would do so when it was appropriate.
