Kestrel - Rogue

Description: A human cloaked in dark green veiled attire stands before you. What can be seen of his skin is heavily tattooed and marked with both ink and scar. His eye color is green spiked with blue near the edges, and his original hair color is black with a touch of hazel brown. Kestrel's features look as if they have been cut from the stonemason's chisel, they are strong, angular, leaving little room for middle ground. When unmasked his hair is either down or back, and he is generally well groomed. The rogue's tattoos are angular and interlocking, though it seems there are still a few spots on his body left untouched.

Personal Style: The attire of the thief is made largely from cotton and dark leathers. His leather stitched breeches are reddish brown, while his studded leather vest is green to a shade of black. His hooded cloak, face wrap and turban are all well cut and dark green. The man's belt, gloves and boots are all dark brown. The weapons of the shrouded rogue are generally larger then average, built with a slight curve, and of Elven or Kelesh make. Though neither nationality is his own, Kestrel prefers the agility of crescent steel over the iron of his youth.

Personality: Quiet, somewhat sly and colorfully blunt, Kestrel's point of view is to take or act first and deal with the frivolities later. When disguised, other elements to his personality arise, but he is usually quick to denounce their real bearing on his character. He has empathic traits for the downtrodden from time to time and is quite comfortable around Elves and Elvish custom.

Background: Born to the Cheliaxian Ravounel Forest and self raised in Kintargo and Westcrown, Kestrel was an independent operator whom became quite confrontational with the Counsel of Thieves when his debt ridden brother was murdered by their assassins. Staging a brutal ambush, Kestrel left the country to travel abroad and loose those seeking payback for his own reckoning.
Hired by both sides of the Taldor-Qadira conflict, Kestrel has acted in a reconnaissance fashion to undermine the truce without confronting open war. This ranged from such actions as sabotage, theft, blackmail, planting evidence to open murder and acting as a proxy to hire marauders for that perspective kingdom. Experiencing events both private and traumatic, the man has become a free agent once more but one without a political agenda skirting neutrality.

Background: Hannibal is a strong willed inquisitor of Iomedae. In his time with the church he has met many others that share his outlook and faith. The two that stand out the most is Sierra and her sibling Viktor. Both Hannibal and Sierra were trained in martial combat by Coravel Aeron.

A one point when they were ready both Sierra and Hannibal parted ways and pursued evil for their faith.

Frakas Shortankard, Gnome Fighter

Postby Frakas » Fri Jun 17, 2011 6:22 am

Image

Description: Frakas Shortankard is a little larger and heavier than the average Gnome, but only a Gnome would notice this. He has vibrant green eyes and unkempt reddish brown hair. His leather armor has a embossed shield which has a crest of a dog representing his hometown local militia named the 'Dog Patrol'.

Image

Personality: Happy go lucky is Frakas normal state. He often calls out the battle cry of the Dog Patrol which sounds like a large dog barking. When he is upset or generally unhappy he emits low growls and bares his teeth. He probably spends a little too much time with his mounts and grows very fond of them, treating them as good or better than himself. Sometimes he seems a little half-baked but those that stick it out with him and overlook his 'uniqueness' are rewarded with a lifelong friend.

Background:
Frakas had a tough childhood, he wasn't a natural fighter and was often beaten up. He developed his quick reactions from being in a constant state of high alert, looking out for bullies. Once he was old enough he joined up with the Dog Patrol, a local militia who use war dogs as their mounts. Frakas chose a cat as his animal companion to which he has received endless chastisement from his mates. While he enjoyed being a part of the Patrol he had bigger plans than staying local, he wanted to see the world.

Description: Keanu is tall, thin and pale. He usually wears a dark hooded robe with arcane and elven markings on it. He has thin scruffy facial hair, because he spends to much time studying magic to shave often. His hair is medium length and black, and his eyes are a bright green. Although he's really 150 years old he looks more like he's 18 or 19, his voice's gravelly drawl doesn't quite match his youthful face.

Personality:Calm, cool and collective. Keanu is very smart. He's tough and doesn't like to be pushed around. He's not afraid to fight or stand up to those being bullied. He's mysterious and isn't one for chit chat, he'd rather be studding his magic than caught up in (what he would consider) a meaningless conversation.

Re: The Roster of Wayfarers

Postby Basnite » Tue Jun 21, 2011 3:20 pm

Description: Basnite is a typical looking young adult male gnome. His skin and hair are equally loud although in different shades. When adventuring, he looks like short little tank, loaded to the hilt, with his heavier, although still medium armor, and his large shield. He doesn't resemble the typical nature lover, with his metal armor. The only thing that might give him away is his strangely intelligent pet wolf, a gift to him from Gozreh for his loyal service.

Personality: Basnite has pretty much a typical gnomish outlook. He is fun loving and inquisitive, traits that have led him to the Wayfarer's doorstep. He enjoys a good scrum, and enjoys engaging his enemies in hand to hand combat, relying on his armor, which makes him exceedingly tough to hit. In battle however, he also distracts his opponents by speaking Terran, a language in which he has never had any formal study. That is the only language he can communicate in at that time...another possible gift from Gozreh. He can be a bit grating, as most gnomes can, from his constant questions and his lack of focus, as he quickly jumps from topic to topic, unable to concentrate for most tasks for long. There are just too many interesting things to be forced to focus one of them.

Background: Basnite's mother was raised in the service of Gozreh, and he took up the same study, learning much from her. He learned much from her, and then hearing about the roster of Wayfarers, decided to see more of the natural world, and attempt to profit a bit while doing so.

Postby Viktor » Wed Jun 22, 2011 11:16 am

Retired from Play | Show
Description: Tall and leanly built, Viktor has a noteworthy presence due to his long, silvery hair and electric blue eyes. He has fine features, with high cheekbones and angular brows.

Personal Style: Viktor refuses to wear anything with color in it; his clothing is typically in shades of grey. For traveling, he has sturdy sueded leather breeches in charcoal, dark grey knee-high boots, a dove grey shirt, charcoal scarf, and a slate waxed cotton coat that comes to mid-thigh.

Personality: Aloof, restless, provocative, Viktor is a headstrong young man who questions authority and watches the world through discerning eyes. He has a very dry sense of humor, deadpan and ironic. He seeks power in all its forms and is a risk-taker.

Background: Viktor and his sister Sierra appeared in the elven village one day, twin Aasimar children with platinum hair and stunning blue eyes. The elves could not determine where the children had come from, so they raised them as foundlings. An old warrior named Coravel Aeron took them into their home.

Sierra remembered nothing of where they had come from, or why they had appeared in the village in such a strange manner. However, Viktor remembered more than his sister did, though he did not tell her. Often, he would have strange dreams and waking visions of their life before. What he saw caused him to be more withdrawn than his sister, troubled as a youth. Slowly, however, he seemed to grow out of his dark moods, though he was never as outgoing as Sierra.

As he grew up, Viktor found he could command arcane power. It came easily to him, with no training needed, though he studied a bit on his own. Soon the elven village felt small, and his restlessness could not be contained. Viktor and Sierra left the village in search of adventure, and new experiences.

Sharn Eliassa (avatar pending)
http://www.dndsheets.net/view.php?id=19035

Description: Sharn is a fairly large man who he gives the impression of an old oak, from the tanned skin and gnarled muscles to the air of solidity that he seems to radiate. While obviously a younger man, his shoulder length stark white hair might cause confusion at first glance. He usually wears a neutral expression as his feelings don’t often show, even in body language. His white hair, which he has had ever since a frightening experience as a 10 year old when he was attacked by a raiding goblin scout, serves to highlight his steely ice blue eyes. Not many can hold his gaze firmly for long. Years of hard work helping his dad in his smithy made him strong. And for a man his size, Sharn is fairly graceful, which some find surprising.

Personal Style: Sharn favors clothing that blends in with browns, greys and faded greens as well as clothing that has been well worn. He tends to be cautious, waiting to lay a trap or ambush, both physically and psychologically. But when pushed or confronted he can be vicious. Sharn is guarded, but with friends he lightens up some. He occasionally will talk to trees, plants, animals, rocks, whatever is at hand. He’s not crazy; it’s just his way of thinking out loud. Though he strives for good, he can be sneaky and calculating in how it happens.

Personality: Sharn was a “good boy” who was responsible … that characteristic remains in Sharn the man. Sharn is slow to speak, careful with his words, but that does not mean he is slow witted. Just the opposite; Sharn is a very wise and perceptive man. He is a natural guardian with a desire to protect, especially those close to him. He values life, loves nature and strives in balance in life. Sharn has a wry, dry sense of humor that is surprising at times coming from his normally serious mein.

Background: Sharn grew up in a remote village in ___, the only son and oldest child of the village blacksmith with four younger sisters, who he watched like protectively for years. When not working the smithy with his dad or stalking his sisters to be sure they were safe, Sharn was out in the woods, hunting, fishing, camping, trapping, roaming. His widower grandfather was a trapper/woodsman and taught him much about nature and the land. It was a surprise to no one, therefore, that he eventually apprenticed himself to Barak, a ranger working in the area, instead of following in his father’s footsteps. When Sharn finished his apprenticeship he bade his family and friends farewell and set off to find his place in the world, starting at the nearest city, Thessia. Sharn disliked the very idea but felt it necessary. Sharn does not like cities … they are too crowded and too dangerous. It’s hard to keep track of your charges and be aware of all the dangers. His youngest sister was raped in an alleyway while in Thessia when he was in a store. Cities are inherently dangerous.

Postby Tanath » Sat Jul 09, 2011 6:57 am

Retired from play | Show
Description: Tanath is a slender human male. Standing at 6'1", the rogue has an athletic build, but isn't overly muscular. He has long and thin black hair, tied together, with the tail fanning out on his back. His eyes are very dark as well, and Tanath's only notable physiognomic feature is his deceptively charming smile.

Personal style: as is befitting a thief, Tanath goes dressed in black. That's to say, leather run-down boots which are gray with dust, and a full-length cloak that covers his whole body and most of his head. Tanath usually wears the hood - which hides his eyes in shadow - either as a stealth tactic, or a psychological one. Tanath is careful enough to wear leather armor beneath the cloak, and to carry his weapons and gear under it, as well. The rogue prefers melee fights, but leaves his buckler strapped to his rucksack unless he deems it necessary. His lightning reflexes turn battle almost into an art.

Personality: The thief is used to remain silent and attentive for long stretches of time. He'll sometimes act this way, especially in large groups when it's wiser to observe than to attract attention. Other times, Tanath will gladly indulge into conversation - usually when fencing with subtext is involved. His hood prevents his interlocutors from reading his eyes and brow - Tanath is equally comfortable with charming them diplomatically, or bluffing. His life on the streets has gotten him a big mouth, too, and always at the wrong times. Whenever he speaks up without thinking, Tanath will get himself in a chase or a fight.

Background: Tanath does not know his biological parents. He was an abandoned child in the rough end of Magnimar, found by a derelict gang of half-elves. They trained him in the ways of the street, where spryness of the mind and hand are all-important. In the decadent taverns, Tanath learned the power of words (and hidden daggers). In the moonless nights and on crowded markets, he became one with the shadows to steal from the fortunate. In the year Tanath turned eightteen, most of his half-elven brothers-in-arms were caught or killed during a city guard raid. Without their comradery, Tanath saw no reason to stay in Magnimar and travelled north, where he resided in the borderland communities - mostly active on black markets and smuggling routes. (It was here, in the barbarous mountains, that he learned Giant and Gnoll for "diplomatic" reasons.) At the age of 21, he returned to the West coast of Varisia and boarded the first ship he could get on, to explore new regions and cities.

Quorthon, Human Bard

Postby Quorthon » Fri Nov 25, 2011 8:27 pm

Retired from Play | Show
Description: This Ulfen stands just over six feet tall, lean and ruggedly handsome like many of his kinsmen. His brown hair and beard glow red in the light, sometimes tied in coarse braids, other times left to flow freely down to his shoulders. His easy smile is a little wolfish, but his lightly northern-accented voice is rich and boisterous.

Personal Style: With his fur-cuffed chain shirt, unpainted round Ulfen shield, and wide leather axe-belt, Quorthon at first glance appears primarily a warrior, and in fact considers himself so. He plays up this warrior image even more when reciting Ulfen epics at the mead-halls frequented by northern sailors, though is happy to replace it with a simple cotton shirt and breeches for singing bawdy ballads at dockside bars in case he drinks too much and falls in.

Personality: Though he seems like any other quick-witted, eternally jesting bard, anyone who has spent time with Quorthon knows that there is a grim edge underneath the flippant smile. At times he can seem almost fatalistic, though even then he seems in good (if dark) humor. While outwardly he seems to care for naught but boozing and skirt-chasing and battles, he takes his sacred duties as a skaldic warrior-poet very seriously. He is well schooled in the saga-histories of his people, the epic odes and ballads, and the lines of the Linnorm Kings, along with thousands of other odds and ends of information that he has picked up over the years.

Background:
spoiler: show
Quorthon's earliest memories are of arriving in the small village of Losthome with his little sister Gelde, refugees from the witchlands of Irrisen. As penniless orphans, they found food and fire wherever they could, whether that was polishing boots, sharpening swords, fetching ales or what-have-you. They soon found that singing for their supper seemed to work the best, and one day after several months of scrabbling about Losthome they unknowingly sang for none other than Hali the Harper, personal skald of Sveinn Blood-Eagle, King of Kalsgard. Some say that Hali himself was an Irrisenian refugee and had grown up hungry in the alleys of Kalsgard; in any case, something moved the old bard's heart and he took them as stewards, hoping to train them further.

At the Court, they lived what before they dared not dream. Even as simple stewards and servants, they slept with full bellies near warm fires, and learned much at old Hali's side, mixing with mighty Ulfen warriors, dwarven emissaries and Tian trade princes from beyond the Crown of the World. Those years were the happiest, and Quorthon grew strong and quick-witted, handsome and personable; more than once, the matron chased him breeches-down from the maid-quarters, wolfish grin never leaving his face. Unfortunately, his sister was equally comely, but retained her virtue... until one snot-nosed lordling decided he would slum with the "strawberry tart", as he called her, whether she willed it or not. And so Quorthon killed his first man, and landed them both as thralls of the ambitious, petty Vinterblot noble family that had spawned the brute.

These short years were decidedly unhappy, full of hard labor and beatings. And then, one day, his sister was gone. Under Ulfen law, it is legal to enslave someone for a set time as punishment for a crime, but it is not legal to treat them with special cruelty or sell them, but that was precisely what happened. The Vinterblots had been entertaining southerners recently, and a city--Theissia--had been mentioned. With no other leads to go on, Quorthon escaped his masters and signed on with a southbound smuggler's brigantine. He eventually made his way to sunny Theissia, a penniless north-man sailor like so many others stinking up the docks, but knew that his skills would set him apart--and point him towards his sister. Joining the Wayfarer's Guild seemed the best bet for information and resources, and so the warrior-poet finds himself in the noisy taproom...

Description: Tall compared to most other humanoids at 6'4" with an athletic build. His skin is a pale grey, has grey eyes and hair is pale blonde to almost white kept long and pulled back.

Personal Style: Wears loose but fitted clothing even over his armor. Not only out of comfort and moveability but to decieve opponents of actual size and defense. These he likes to keep clean and maintained, for appearance in battle is not only the skill shown. Being a follower of Gorum he always keeps a weapon on him, whether it is a sword or a dagger. These he uses as divine focus as well.

Personality: Tag has a tactical mind. As such he behaves in a manner he best decides will provide the outcome he is after. That is not to say he will prostrate before anyone, he still has his dignity. Rather he will act friendly and "get along" with those he must accompany. He does this by telling stories to help keep up spirits or provide motivation. None of the stories are true, which is fine in a tavern...theyre just stories afterall. In a fight his demenor changes and becomes serious. When met with Orcs/ Half Orcs, or individuals who scoff at Gorum, Tag is compelled to challenge them and slay them. For minor transactions, those too week to fight, he brands them for all to see their shame in the eyes of Gorum.

Background: Tag, born to a tribe of elves who live amongst cliff faces and had a god of iron (Gorum), was raised around combat. War was so ingrained in their beliefs it was common place. Growing up it was taught that Gorums greatness called followers among other races. This was good. Certain races, however, had tarnished the name and ideal of Gorum by claiming he was of a certain race, claiming he was an Orc. This knowledge of the Orcs blaphemous doctrines compels members of Tags tribe to purge the Orc filth from amongst Gorums followers. Having come to take this mission personally Tag sets out to search the lands for this scourge upon his faith. Knowing he cannot do it alone or all at once he goes where he may join others who seek dangerous tasks and have potential of being sent out to battle the scum of creation. Thus Tag continues in battle to glorify Gorum, and time to time punish the heretical believers.

Postby Alan Irving » Thu Dec 22, 2011 8:08 am

Retired from Play | Show
Description: Alan is a very short and unnoticeable man. He is thin, though not too thin, and has an unmarked, well-groomed face (though not TOO well-groomed). His brown eyes are not overly striking or noteworthy, and in fact nothing about him draws too much interest, from his bland and unobtrusive expression down to his plain dusty boots.

Image

Personal Style: Alan keeps his clothes clean and tries to look nice, even considering the new profession he’s trying to get into. When in town, Alan wears a basic brown jacket and is often seen smoking a pipe or reading a book. When down in a tomb or ruin, however, he leaves his nice jacket behind and pays the utmost attention to his surroundings. He usually has some manner of tool in hand that is most likely to come into use.

Personality: Alan is very mild mannered, bland sort of man. He tends to be kind and polite, and enjoys a bit of gossip. When the subject of delving into crypts or ruins or such comes up, however, Alan becomes like a different man. He gets excited in his speech, often dominating conversation with stories and bits of knowledge. Even more, he craves to learn new and unheard of tricks and to find unexplored ruins ripe for breaking into.

Background: Alan is the son of two librarians in a small, unimportant town few have visited or heard of. All his life, Alan was raised around books, and when he reached an old enough age, he took a job working for his father at the local library. For many years, Alan was content with that life, though he would often read books about adventure and excitement and dream of a different lot.

When Alan was twenty-three, his father disappeared. After a year of waiting, it became apparent that the man was not going to return. On that day, Alan’s mother, greatly distraught, gave Alan the key to his father’s office in the library and bid him go and learn his father’s secrets. What Alan found changed his life forever.

His father’s office was filled with all manner of books, but not the likes of which were available to the public. These were guides for setting and disarming traps; finding secret doors; bypassing streams of molten lava; even battling ancient elemental guardians of treasures long forgotten. The desk was filled with journals of exploits the older Irving had performed, dungeons he had looted, ruins he had explored, relics he had recovered. The location of the treasures was unknown, and there was no clue as to what could have happened to his father, but Alan had been given a purpose.

Over the next year, he studied his father’s notes and research. Alan learned the locations of countless ruins and made plans to test his newfound skills. At long last, Alan felt ready. All that remained was to find a team to go with him, lest he be lost and forgotten.

Description:
Leliadlara is tall for a human woman, slender, with hazel eyes and black hair that goes to her shoulders. She wears a ring, earrings and a tiara given to her by her mother as keepsakes for when she left her home.

Personal Style:
Leliadlara generally tries to look optimistic where ever she goes, but becomes a bit reserved around most humans or elves. She wears a lovely blue robe and can often be seen fingering around in one of her belt pouches to feel her greensting scorpion familiar. Leliadlara also has a soft spot for children, which is the only exception to her normal reservation for humans and elves.

Personality:
Leliadlara becomes very interested in anything that has to do with unknown magic or spirits, as she is trying to decipher the origin and future of her powers. She enjoys getting to help the wounded (especially animals). When it comes to the subject of her powers though, she does not trust that information with anyone, they will have to earn that trust from her.

Background:
Leliadlara was orphaned by her biological parents when she was young. She does not know why, or even if they are still alive. She was raised by a half-elf couple as their own, which is where her elvish name comes from. Leliadlara was picked on a lot as a kid since she was a human being raised by half-elves, but did not become fickle entirely. When she became 16, she began to hear a strange call that no one else could hear. People thought she was strange for it and criticized her more for that. She decided she could not take it anymore there and left with some equipment in the direction of the call. It led her to a hut in the nearby forest, where she began to try and unravel the call's mystery. In the hut she found her familiar, whom came to her harmlessly, and she knew it had something to do with the call. From then on she began to develop her powers, while at the same time developing herself in the arts of healing (especially animals). Leliadlara promised herself that she would live on, guided by the voices and lending a healing hand to those that she can.

Tramon is built solidly, and is on the tall side. He has long, untrimmed black hair that he keeps tied back in a head band. His clothes are relatively simple and he keeps his possessions in a sack he ties to his back with rope.

Personal Style:

Tramon is pretty easy going and enjoys a good time, wether it's with good friends or a good drinking contest. When he has down time he spends it training, whether that be physically or by consuming alcohol. Most people wouldn't see this as training, but Tramon knows it helps him become better. He isn't sure how he knows, but he can sense that soon he will be able to unlock his full potential and fully utilize the power of the drink.

Personality:

Tramon is patient, but also stubborn. He is not prone to budge from what he believes, sometimes to a fault. At the same time, he is willing to be flexible. He is not so stuck in his ways that he won't do what's necessary, yet he has trouble seeing why some people act a certain way. He's also willing to teach anyone who'll listen to his philosophy, and he'll also try to prove it.

Background:

Tramon Pegason isn't like most monks. He didn't train at a monastary, nor has he met anyone of his ilk. He doesn't care much "meditation" or "finding one's innermost being". Tramon likes a good drink, a good fight, and a good time. He spent his earlier yeaqrs honing his body and developing a tolerance for drinking. In fact he grew up around it.

I have never met my father, instead I lived with my mother who owns a tavern in a small town not too far from Absalom. I used to work there as a bouncer, chef, or what ever else I needed. I spent all the time I had in that tavern since I was a child, learning to drink, and developing my philosophy. One night when he was working he notcied something about the people who came into the tavern. A question came to his mind, why did people come here. That answer was easy, they came here to become happy, they came here to live. Another question came to my mind, how did these people become happier? Well I realized they came with their friends, they talked, they sang, they...drank. And then it hit me: people were truly happy when they were drinking. In a sense it freed their minds...without the alcohol to bring them together they would have nothing; they would have no reason to have a good time. I began to see life for what it really was, and so I took to drinking more and more, trying to find my own sense of the perfect state of mind. Now I find peace and solace while drunk, and power in it too.

Thus Tramon left his mother's tavern and set out on a personal quest. He would hone himself and achieve the perfect state, the constant inebriation so to speak.

What does your character look like?
Description:
Kary tends to come across as petite for a half-elf; at five-foot-four, she is barely average for a human female. If it were not for her fine-boned features and gently pointed ears the youthful woman would not show her elven heritage at all. Possessing attractive curves and a pretty face, Kary is lovely though falls short of being outright beautiful; slightly curly blonde hair falls past her shoulder blades, while seeming luminescent blue eyes peer forth from beneath thin brows, over a near-perpetual smile.

Personal Style: Unlike most Calistrian followers, Kary tends to clad herself in darker colors, with splashes of yellow or red to provide contrast. Kary disdains the wearing of armour, but is intelligent enough to know it is necessary when in dangerous areas; outside of that, however, she is almost always found in something comfortable and generally alluring. A holy symbol crafted of precious silver is perpetually nestled against her chest, always visible.

While many Calistrian followers decorate themselves with henna, Kary has taken to using blue flesh-ink, similar to what tattooists use; she intends to have the whorling designs on her arms made permanent in time.

Personality: Kary seems to be perpetually in good cheer, always with a smile or wink, and rarely seems to fall prey to anger. However, those who get to know her find that she has a capricious nature, at times as unpredictable as the flame burning within her sou. Though good natured at heart, Kary does have a tendancy to remember slights and, as with any good cleric of Calistria, is not above plotting dark revenge on one who insults or disrespects her.

Background: Karyis doesn't remember where she was born, or even who her parents are; not amnesia, but she was abandoned at a very young age in Daggermark (in the River Kingdoms), left at a small, poor orphanage there. Kary more or less grew up as a street-rat, coming and going from the orphanage as she pleased, much like the other children who lived there.

Although not the leader of the little gang of street-rats, she was by far the most personable, able to talk herself and the others out of trouble more often than not; this also led her to befriending merchants, hooligans and other townsforlk fairly easily.

When she was 18, she was involved in a half-planned (and poorly executed) caper to relieve an out of towner of his coin, acting as a distraction of sorts. During her distraction, the out of towner (a merchant follower of Calistria) noticed a birthmark that Kary possesses in a rarely-seen area, and recognized it as a divine mark of his Goddess.

The caper was a failure, but the merchant managed to convince Kary to come with him to the local shrine dedicated to Calistria; Kary went along, not entirely convinced of his story, but curious.about the fuss over her birthmark. It was revealed to her at the Shrine that one of her recent ancestors was a priestess of Calistria, and that the birthmark had the potential to herald better things for the young half-elf.

Eager to better her standings, Kary undertook a new education at the shrine, her first two years spent in study and of docterine and learning how to channel divine power. Once Kary had passed her initial trials into the Calistria clergy, she chose to become one of Her 'Servents', providing succor to the needy. *ahem*

Recently, however, she has taken leave from being one of Her 'prostitutes'... although Kary felt fulfilled doing so, something in her felt that she had more to do: Kary is not sure what yet, but believes that taking to the road will lead her to where she is needed. The half-elf is not even fully sure if this feeling is divinely inspired, or simply a matter of wanderlust.

Unknown to Kary, parralel to her elven heritage is something more friendish; a grandmother who was a tiefling, and passed on some of the taint through her bloodline.
