Despite blood pumping from two wounds, the staggering orc warrior tries desperately to retaliate on the woman spellcaster. He just cannot beat her nimble dodging, a tad slow on the stroke of his curved cleaver-like sword. He cries, "Starnd still, ya bitch! Hit her gud!"

His orc comrade is saved from the killing blow that came from behind, yet he remains intent on following through with trying remove Gweyn's head from her shoulders. However, the orc should have aimed for the torso instead, his falchion cuts only the air above. "Bah, sturp moven and let me chop ya!"

The half-orc female shifts around to see better and begins making arcane gestures while uttering guttural words of power. Gweyn once again recognizes the Magic Missile spell as two pin-points of light fly from the mage's finger towards both her and Narissa. The shiny points of light slam into each of them with arcane force to cause minor wounds and bruised bones from the impact. Narissa is shocked that her natural resistance of such things was not enough to turn the effect aside. "Those women are tougher than they look. Hey now! Hurry up and finish them off, you morons."

The nearly dead orc pursues Visara, but he just cannot move fast enough to keep up. But when she stops to run through his fellow raider with her bog sword, he pulls up behind her getting ready to strike her down from behind.

Visara watches Gweyn as the woman pierces the orc with her rapier and apparently arc lighting into the beast. So the woman has teeth, Visara takes note, interesting indeed. At Narissa’s taunting, Visara lets out a snicker of laughter. Like the fighting during the escape to Skelt, Narissa’s perverted comments seem to provide entertainment value to the combat, aside from the actual killing.

Visara swings her greatsword in an overhand chop at the orc between her and Gweyn, cutting deeply into the orcs shoulder and back, fatally wounding it. "Hah!" Visara shouts as she quickly yanks her blade loose. She then steps away from the two dying orcs and takes stock of the battle before decided where to go next.

Gweyn hissed in pain as she reeled in the aftereffects of the orc woman’s spell. The concussive force had hit her like an invisible fist, abrading her skin and bruising muscle.

Her lip twisted into a feral snarl. Aware of the orc behind her, she maneuvered away, keeping the other would-be raider in front of her. Then she struck out again, rapier leveled to pierce the raider through his heart. At the same moment, she whispered another word of magic, but the orc dodged nimbly aside.

Feeling the sting of the magical attack has fueled her fury, Narissa whirls towards the half-orc mage, "You CUNT! I will taste your blood and then laugh as you burn in hell!" Her black feathered wings snap into existence and spread out from her body as she launches in that direction. The winged fury charges forward to try and impale the unarmored spellcaster.

Much to Narissa's surprise, the point appears to hit the woman's torso, but it is turned aside as if it was deflected by armor that isn't there. The point leaves her victim unmarred.

The staggering orc warrior is still trying to decapitate Gweyn before the blood finishes leaking out from his wounds. He swings desperately and slips the curved blade under her arm, cutting deeply into her side. He jeers at leaving her badly wounded, "Har! I git ya gud, bitch. I still gonna kill ya!"

Staggering from the cut from Visara's large sword, the next orc warrior turns around to step closer to her, but his falchion is feeling a little heavy in his hands as his life is flowing out down his back. His curved sword only manages to slice some leaves off the nearby bush."Aargh! Fookin bitch."

The half-orc female smirks at the winged woman that suddenly finds that her spear could not puncture her skin so easily. "Fuck off bird brain, I will deal with you easily." The mage steps back behind the small bush to get away from Narissa's weapon and begins chanting her guttural incantation. Sparkling faerie dust starts raining gently around Narissa and Gweyn recognizes the Sleep spell. However, Narissa doesn't feel the least bit drowsy.
Image

The last orc warrior tries one more time to remove Visara's head, but the swing misses wide and he cannot stop the follow through as his body completely spins around. The artery is no longer spraying blood, only leaking slightly. The dead orc crumples flat on his face, no longer moving.

Gweyn snarled as the orc’s blade cut into her side. She staggered with the force of the blow, her vision turning black at the edges. She could feel the blood running down her side, soaking through her clothing. Her skin felt clammy and cold.

She realized she was hurt badly, and that another blow from the orc would bring her to her knees. Gweyn felt a violent inner rage tear loose inside her, awakening her inner beast.

Heavy golden red fur erupted from her skin, her form changing. Bones stretched with heavy, cracking sounds, tendons wrenching out of shape. Gweyn’s face elongated into a muzzle and fang-filled jaws.

Her eyes blazed, angry and green.

In place of the young red-headed woman that she’d been just moments before, Gweyn was now a bipedal canine creature, half human, half animal, all feral anger.

Her hands were heavy and furred, with thick claws. She stabbed her rapier at the attacking orc but missed entirely in her fury.

Visara glances in the direction of Gweyn in order to see how the woman fairs against the orc. The sudden transformation of the woman named Gweyn into a furry, bipedal, and angry creature startles Visara. What the hell!? She yells as she swings at her own orc. “Fuck!!” Visara curses. The apparently scene of Gweyn becoming something other than Gweyn is enough of a distraction to Visara as the blade to go wide. Visara refocuses her attention on the orc and glares daggers at the soon to be dead brute.

With her wings swirling the faerie dust around her, she laughs as the spell obviously has no effect, "Oh you wished to sleep with me, lover? Come, let me fuck you properly!" She moves forward and swings the ranseur low to trip up the mage, but it was only a trick to get her victim to stumble off balance. As her the orcish woman falters trying to adjust to the blow that did not come, Narissa's lightning quick thrust at the half-orc's torso almost eviscerates the woman leaving her entrails barely inside, but the whole front of her clothes is now stained dark crimson with blood.

In that sweet, husky voice of hers, Narissa coos, "Ooh, you are so lovely in red, my dear. Now come to me, lover."

A fresh orc warrior comes hustling around from the lead wagon of the caravan to help eliminate the vanguard. He is dressed like the others, but already has a bloody falchion in one one hand and a javelin in the other.

The staggering orc warrior is so stunned by the woman, now canine, that he cannot muster the strength to penetrate her tougher hide. The curve blade fails to cut through Gweyn's armor, "Fookin orge balls! Ya be real bitch!"

The other fatally wounded warrior continues to parry and clang his sword off of the larger weapon of Visara, his blood still slowing pumping from his mortal wound. The two combatants both keep trying to chop past each other's defenses. After a grunt of pain for his efforts and seeing another warrior come into view to help he taunts, "Ung! Ho, more be comin for ya now!"

The half-orc female staggers back from the nearly fatal blades at the tip of Narissa's polearm. The mage gestures and snarls out guttural incantations to produce two more magical pin points of light to slam into the winged woman, once again penetrating her magic resistances. Despite her painful wound, she still thinks she might kill Narissa who is now moderately wounded, "You are one sick bitch. How'd you like that, eh? I got another one for you right here."

Feral rage sang through Gweyn’s blood. She snarled, the sound reverberating deeply through her chest. She bared gleaming fangs.

With her rapier in one hand and a spell roiling in the other, Gweyn launched yet another attack on the startled orc. Her blade pierced the beast’s shoulder with a violent spray of blood while her spell sent a heavy burst of electricity coursing through him, boiling his blood and cooking his flesh from within.

The smell of charred, oily meat rose in the air. The orc shuddered and twitched, then fell over without another gasp.

A howl broke from Gweyn’s throat.

Glaring daggers at the orc must have glued it in place, as Visara’s next swing took the creatures head off in a spray of blood. “That’s what I’m talking about!” she shouts in glee as the head goes flying further down the road.

Turning, Visara catches sight and slight smell of cooked orc, and the feral beast formally known as Gweyn. Impressive, she thinks to herself wondering if the feral looking creature will attack anything on sight or just the orcs. Visara then heads back up the road at the sound of another orc approaching the vanguard, “Oh look, another one to die on my blade!” she mutters to herself.

Narissa flaps her wings to move closer and higher to bring her victim back within her reach of the bladed tip of the ranseur. She thrusts it into the half-orc's face and turns the bitch into mutilated corpse that has only to finish bleeding out. She gloats coyly in that seductive tone of hers, "Yeeeesss, oh how I loved fucking you, lover. Pity, you cannot survive my shaft and now you are too ugly for the lord of hell to want you."

Her victim forgotten, blood dripping from her weapon's pointed head, she turns to face the new orc warrior and shifts the polearm to on hand and brings her buckler up in case the brute decides to chuck that spear at her.

Leaving the initial foes in ruin, the three women of the vanguard detail are noticing that the tide of battle along the length of the caravan is perhaps turning as well. They can still see some orcs fighting back there, but there are shouts as other caravan guards are counter-attacking. Perhaps the female mage was a key component to the raiders plan and her defeat has put contest in in their favor. However their work at the front of the caravan is not done.

A second fresh orc appears from around the backside of the wagon and his falchion is bloody too. He hurls a javelin at the flying woman, the point not even touching the winged assassin, "Ya killed the mage, fookin' kill ya fer dat!"

The other fresh warrior moves to attack Visara and flings his javelin at her as well, the shaft being knocked aside in mid air by her greatsword. He grasps his bloodied blade in both hands ready to receive her attack, clearly not having a clue who he is dealing with, "Ya die dis day bitch!"

The half-orc female is mortally wounded, her face a ruin and blood staining the rocky ground crimson. There are only a few more moments left before she will be dead.

Gweyn stepped on the body of the dead orc in front of her in her haste to close with the next foe. She scrambled over rocks and through thick bushes that pulled at her fur. She clutched her rapier in a wide paw and she used all fours to move more quickly, but was thwarted by the uneven footing.
