Narissa’s questioning of the room is answered almost immediately “Oh no darling, we are watching to see what you will do.” “Yes, and we are thoroughly amused by your frantic shuffling.” The first female voice laughs as the first male voice mocks excitedly “Move it over here, no, back over there!” Then they both laugh heartily.
They fall silent as suddenly the sound the barred door being unlocked fills the room. “Let us see what happens” Narissa reacts instantly, moving quickly and silently to the wall next to the door. Moments later, two guards enter talking and laughing; paying little attention as they nearly walk into Kal. Light floods the room from the open door behind them, momentarily blinding Kal as his eyes adjust. Narissa, fortunate enough not to be facing the doorway, acts swiftly.
The guards are armed with shields and spears as well as carrying shortswords at their belts. Their bodies are mostly covered by long bright red cloaks and their heads are protected by polished red helmets.

When Narissa hears the door open she wraps her wings around her and goes still as a statue, eyes watching what happens next, Hextor’s balls! These two just stumbled into the spider’s web.
Realizing that she has the drop on the two guards she is unconcerned by what Kalvol’s going to do. She unfurls her wings in a move that carries her aloft as she snaps a kick right underneath the second guard’s chin with her right foot. His head snaps back and his feet come off the ground. The impact of the strike and a scissoring motion of her left leg and she turns towards the first guard while still in the air. As her left foot comes underneath her towards the wall by the door, she pushes off to give further momentum to her next strike, an elbow to the back of the guard’s exposed neck.
Her follow through and a wing movement sees her land like a cat facing the open door. She doesn’t even look at the damage done, knowing that both strikes were mortal. She peers through the doorway looking to see if anyone is there to notice.

The two guards lay dead upon the floor having fallen nearly silently save for the sudden noise of their armor clamoring to the ground with their lifeless bodies. The voices respond almost immediately, “Well done darling” whispers the second female voice into Narissa’s ear. The first male voice exclaims to the room excitedly “Oh wow, how brutal!” to which the first female voice replies “Yes, brutal indeed. But only two guards, let us see how she fares the rest of the way.”
Narissa, suddenly the room seems to slip away quietly to black as you are overcome with an odd dizziness. You cannot see or smell, but you feel cold and rigid like your muscles have suddenly gone tight and all you can hear is the whispered voice of the second female “Darling, we only have a moment alone before they return, before they are no longer amused. They would see you dead, be careful my dear, patrols will come soon.” Suddenly you slip back into the world as if waking from a daze and the dark world of the cell spirals back into perspective.
Kalvol, you also find yourself waking from a sudden daze to see the two guards laying on the floor and Narissa peering out the door of the cell room. You’re unsure of what happened or how, you were away, in another world completely. A gift of vision from your master perhaps; you had seen yourself standing atop the towers of a great fortress wreathed in ice, a tremendous storm raging about you, blanketing all the world in snow and wind. You had just cast your master’s murderer from atop the highest tower, his blood still warm upon your hands. But it had been a dream, only a vision, as reality's return has now revealed.
The next room is plain, there is a desk with an empty chair behind it in the corner and the room is dominated by a large circular table surround by yet more empty chairs. The room is lit by several torches evenly spaced along the stone walls. There is a plain looking wooden door along the southern wall. The handle appears to have no locking mechanism.

Kalvol snaps out of his daze, 'Apologies...we were...distracted.'
He turns to the dead bodies, struck dead, apparently by the woman. 'Excellent job. Now, would you like to go on?'
Kalvol walks up to the first guard and picks up one of the short swords, then passes into the next room. He looks about for anything that would be of use, preferably a dagger of some sort. As he looks, visions of the icy tower continuously pass his eyes, the thrill of the kill chilling his blood. Soon enough grandsire, soon enough. _________________ Kalvol Bane |

As her vision returns, Narissa is further unsettled. She crouches down, wings wrapped around like a protective cloak as she looks around carefully with eyes narrowed while regaining her bearings, whoever these entities are they have some serious powers to fuck me up at the wrong moment. She addresses the voices in a barely audible, sarcastic whisper, “You are amused huh? Care to play in this little dance with me, or are you just enjoying the show?”
Seeing the other room clear of guards, Narissa relaxes a little, unfurling her wings as she kneels down to quickly search the guards. She checks the quality of their weapons to see if they are worth anything. During this search she observes the wizard moving forward, she eyes him with some contempt and doesn’t bother to respond aloud, bastard thinks I need his congratulations or approval. He should be taking it as a warning of what I can do to him.
After gathering what ever she finds that is valuable, she will move the bodies aside so the door can be closed again. Narissa slips silently into the outer room, closing the door behind her. _________________ The Fallen Angel

You step into the next room and suddenly you are returned to the tower top. This time your hands are clean of blood, the storm rages fiercely around your fortress. But around you there is a primal calm, the lashing winds feel like a gentle breeze brushing snow like lacey soft hair across the exposed skin of your face. You look down to see a hand of feminine figure at your waist, it glides gently across your abdomen and over your chest pulling you back as you feel a women’s breasts press against your back. Her head softly brushes your neck, her silky hair tickling your skin. Her other hand strokes a line along your jaw and down over the other side of your neck as she tilts her head back to brush her lips against the bottom of your earlobe. Softly, almost inaudibly she whispers in the language of your master “I can make it real, I know what you seek. Help me… help me and see him avenged…” Your eyes gaze out over the dark snow filled sky and you see the silhouette of a tremendous dragon; it’s shadow, cast by the moonlight, passes over you.

You feel a sudden jolt at the back of you mind and you cringe with the excruciating pain. When your eyes open you find yourself standing in a white room of marble, flooded by brilliant light seemingly from the walls. The room is circular and has no doors or openings, four evenly spaced marble pillars support the outer edges of the domed gold ceiling. You turn round to face a women and in a dangerously familiar voice she speaks “Insolent little brat, are you challenging me?”…
Suddenly the floor begins to swirl and mix with black, spinning round faster and faster you find yourself being pulled helplessly downward. The white room races farther and farther away as you are pulled deeper into the vortex, the women’s voice cries after you “Come back here! This is my world!”. And then it ends, once more you are in the world of black and the familiar tone of second female voice whispers in your ear “We have time to speak now, though we must be quick. She is distracted while she approaches the male.”

Narissa's emotions flash through different sensations, first vengeance at the pain then fear as she opens her eyes, oh shit! This cannot be good. I might be screwing around with a god here.
Then she is sucked away from the threatening bitch and again anger wells up, damn! Yanked around again!
However the anger quickly fades and strangely enough, considering the apparent tumultuous journey to this point, she is surprisingly comforted by the darkness, particularly considering the alternatives. Hearing the calming voice of the second female, she speculates, expecting the voice to hear her, This power struggle between you two is going to be problematic isn’t it. Am I really traveling anywhere? Despite the sensations, I have a suspicion that I haven’t really left the detention cell block. Not that this means anything if that bitch wants to fry my mind. I am getting the impression that this is a test of sorts. Is Hextor behind this? Or is it some other deity that wants me as a plaything?

Kalvol looks around the snowy tower, trying to tell where he is.
Were we transported, or is this an illusion?, he thinks to himself.
'Well, if you would like to help us, please show yourself. We prefer to do business face to face.', wary of gift horses, Kalvol asks, 'And how exactly would you help us? What would you ask of us to do?'
Wary of deception he may be, he can't help but feel comforted by the snow and cold. He closes his eyes, enjoying the feel of it against his skin, like the chill of his icy armor. Ever since his childhood, the cold had been like a blanket of protection. No one could hide in the frozen north as well as he. No one could track prey as well as he in it. Being in this... this green hell had taken it's toll on him. He had never realized how much he missed it. _________________ Kalvol Bane |

The women swoops around you and playfully takes your hands in hers, pulling them close to her face and pressing her cheeks against you palms and then sliding your hands in hers to the top her chest, “Our master was slain as yours, the female did it. We know your pain as you know ours. We can’t kill her but you could? We have a way with the mind, we could find the ones who hurt you so and you could kill them too!” she ends with an excited girlish giggle.

The feminine voice is silent while you speak and for a moment after before replying in a whisper “She is no god, and while your body has not moved this is very real for your mind.” She falls silent for a moment and then whispers in your other ear “Lord of Tyranny has known you all your life, in his hand he has cradled you and gifted you like a favored daughter; do not cast that aside so easily." She pauses once more. "a great general of hell seeks you now, as an ally. The whore is jealous, she conspires to see you fail this test.” |

Narissa considers the verifications she has learned as well as the new crumbs of information that the voice has shared. She remarks sarcastically in thought, Yeah his dominance is just waiting for me to become powerful and worthy enough to fuck my brains out and have me sire fiendish off spring, I am sure. Well, His divine will be done. She sounded almost pious in this last statement.
Returns to more practical issues and asks what is foremost on her mind, “Can I find this bitch and kill her? Or am I just going to have to worry about getting out of this predicament without pissing her off? I supposed I have to worry about what she is trying to do with the wizard as well. The foolish wyrm lover should realize by now that short sword or not, I can kill him pretty quickly with just my bare hands if he betrays me.” Mentally, she imagines a wicked grin on her face with the wizard's throat grasped in her left hand while she pummels his face to mush with her right.

Kalvol laughs loudly, each guffaw issuing out small clouds of frosty breath, 'So, you wish for us to kill the girl and you shall give us information on where to find our prey? We kill our prey, with our own hands. Apparently, your own pain is not so great. If it were, you would wish to feel the woman's last breath against your own face, while your fingers wrap tightly around her neck. Is there some reason you will not kill the woman yourself?' _________________ Kalvol Bane |

“Do not underestimate the male, it’s insanity is dangerous, volatile.” The voice pauses before continuing “Our lord bars her from attacking directly, do not gift her the means to justify an attack as self defense.” Again the voice pauses before continuing though this time in a whispered but dire tone “She wills all her lies and deceit against you. She knows that little in this place can truly threaten your life but she will do all that she can to ware you down before our lord initiates his final test; before welcoming you to his estate. Even now she seeks to direct the male against you, she will aid him if she can and even hamper you.”

The women erupts with anger casting you from herself with a great shove that throws you to the ground. She rises before you, her form shifting and molding. Her skins become scaly and she grows in height, her eyes becoming red and slanted, her visage becoming snake like. Her clothing is ripped away by black flames that flare from her body and swirl around her.
In a tremendous commanding voice she roars “Do not laugh at me! You understand nothing you insolent and pathetic excuse for life!” She rises slowly, levitating herself off the ground and looking down at you with glowing eyes, and then she continues in a low and dangerous tone that is like a dagger to your throat “I hate the female, and were I able I would rip her heart from her chest myself.” She pauses to stare at you angrily once more, her snake-like nostrils flaring “Alas, I have not the power to face her physically. I don’t want to see her suffer, I don’t want her to live that long. I want her dead.” |

Narissa considers the words from this apparently friendly, or at least not hostile, voice and replies cordially, “Very well, your council is appreciated and I shall heed your warnings and advice. I will keep careful watch on the insane wyrm lover and do my best to not provoke the bitch in the meantime.” This last is said with a wry smirk, but her words ring true.
“Is there a way to prevent her from taking me away from my body? She can really cause a problem if she does that at the wrong time, like when I am supposed to be dodging some guardsman’s spear. Or does this trip of ours happen with time stopped?”
| Quote: | | OOC: Even if there are answers to her questions, I think I am ready to return back to Narissa's body. |

A cool smile breaks over Kalvol's face, as he calmly stands up. 'Well my friend, at the moment neither do I have the physical power to face her.'
Kalvol stands calmly, waiting to see what her plan is, though he has no intent on attacking the woman so far. 'What exactly would you like me to do? I've not slept, I've no spells prepared, I've no weapons nor armor. I'm not some monk, miss. I need preparation to strike. A plan, preferably. I believe you've seen what happens when I attack someone without one?' _________________ Kalvol Bane |

“Her anger flares, you have to go” Your final questions go unanswered as the world of black slips away, you feel a tremendous rush as you are suddenly snapped back into your own body. A familiar ache pains your head and you find yourself plagued by a slowly fading dizziness.
______________________________________Kalvol__________________________________________
The women’s rage flares once more at your cocky air. She screams in disgust and flashes forward with blinding speed, her open palm slamming into your brow, brutally throwing you back to the ground. The fortress fades and you open your eyes suddenly to reveal that you are back in the cells. Narissa is close by and seems to be shaking off a sudden dizziness. Your head is pounding and you feel a trickle pouring down from your nose, your tongue passes over your lips and you taste the blood.
In your head you hear a voice dripping with rage filled ire “Do not lecture me on things I know you cocky little fuck, nothing stops me from killing you.” Silence fills the room as you bask in the pain that clutches you head and brow and then the male voice speaks to you in an almost inaudible whisper “Oh she is so mean, but her offer is sincere; kill the female and she will help you. Many trials lie ahead, many guards stand in her way and she must gain her freedom, she is in mortal danger if she stays.” You feel the weight of hands upon your shoulders though the pain in your skull is still too much for you to rise, the voice continues to whisper, this time in your ear “let them ware her down, betray her when she needs you most.” The hands lift away.
_____________________________________________________________________________________
Your pains slowly fade and a thorough search of the guards bodies reveal little more that their cloaks, armor, shields and weapons. Off one guard Narissa finds a ring with several keys. The next room is very plain, the desk in the corner proves to be just that and nothing more. Upon the large circular table you find playing cards dealt into four hands. The closed door appears not to have a locking mechanism with nothing more than a simple handle. |
